Wonderful animal. Very lively. Used point and shoot camera as was unaware that they were going to be in attendance. Everyone that attended thought it was wonderful.
Scouts along with their parents from Pack and Troop 347 of Knightdale, NC joined in the fun cleaning up the Neuse River Saturday April 4. It was a beautiful morning and the boys went straight to work picking up litter along the banks where Poole Road crosses the river. We had a great turn out of scouts representing each den in the pack and that of the troop. This event covers over 70 river miles with 14 check in stations.
It is now the largest river clean up in the state!
Approximately 1200 volunteers have removed more than 85,000 pounds of trash in six years.
Please join us at the Bridging Campout this month!
This is when the Webelos II bridge up to Boy Scouts.
Not sure if you have signed up or not? Please call your den leader to verify! We need to know who all is coming as soon as possible. The more the merrier!!! :-)
How much does it cost? It will cost $5 for camping (the scouts who show up will have their reimbursed) and $10 for food per person.

On Saturday December 13th, some cubs from Pack 347 went to Wellington Retirement Village in Knightdale to sing Christmas Carols for the residents. Karen Barndhart chaired this event and made the song books that we sang from. The boys and adult singing singing, sang their hearts out. I saw residents crying from Joy and singing with us. This made the day of a lot of the residents.

Thanks to all the Scouts and parents that participated in this event.
